Dancing during older adulthood serves as a multidimensional intervention that integrates physical, cognitive, and social stimulation. It significantly contributes to the maintenance and enhancement of quality of life. Physiologically, dance improves dynamic balance, muscular strength, and gait speed, thereby reducing fall risk among seniors (Keogh et al., 2009). Cognitively, the acquisition of complex movement sequences and the necessity of rhythmic-motor synchronization promote neuroplasticity and improve executive functions and working memory (Kattenstroth et al., 2013). Furthermore, dance offers substantial psychosocial benefits; the inherent group interaction and emotional expression mitigate feelings of loneliness, anxiety, and depression while increasing overall subjective well-being (Koch et al., 2014).

Beginners: Monday mornings 10:00-11:00
Experienced: Tuesday mornings 10:45 - 12:15
Classes in Mevaseret Tzion on Wednesday mornings at Studio Rivka Peled, 125 Ha-Palmach St.
